  5. I missed seeing my mother on mother’s day because I was busy buying comics. So I thought I’d draw her something nice. The obvious thing would be to document something from our recent mother-daughter trip to Key West. One of my favorite parts of the trip was when we ate at Blue Heaven and we shared a bowl of their delicious carrot curry soup. And then of course I thought haha what if we were fighting instead of sharing and talking like chickens??!? By the time I thought hey maybe my mom won’t like this? It was too late to turn back.

  6. Allow me to brag!

    TCAF was really great this year, although I was very tired the whole entire time. Here I have drawn my entire haul and a few things I remember fondly. Really there were many more things that happened but I am too lazy to draw them. I met most of the people I bought from and everyone was so nice. I am marveling at my purchases. I don’t know when I’ll have the money to eat again, but I have zero regrets about what I spent.

    I just remembered that I never managed to see Katie Shanahan! She was coincidentally away from her table every time I walked by. Anyways great perfect TCAF, I got to spend time with a lot of people I admire. Which is so stressful and good.
