1. I worship my friends! It was Rachel’s birthday on friday so here, I made her a ridiculous shoujo portrait of her and her babbu chinchilla Hubble.

  2. My friend Dan turns 30 today so I drew this romantic portrait of him and his girlfriend Kate.

    Kate met Dan at my birthday party last year and I don’t think she’s ever going to forgive me for that.

  3. I’m back from my honeymoon! It was wonderful! I ate everything. I’ll be posting journal comics from the trip as soon as I can scan them. I wasn’t as dilligent as I’d hoped I would be because halfway throught the trip I bought A Dance With Dragons at which point drawing ceased almost entirely. Or maybe entirely entirely. Anyways it’s all going to take a lot of editing but I’m looking forward to having TUMBLR CONTENT again after a crazy month of nothing but wedding planning and stress eating followed by a very, very long honeymoon. Not having a wedding to plan any longer has left my life with a gaping, wonderful hole that I am going to fill with drawing, drawing, drawing. It is so nice to have things back to normal. Also my boss just told me I’ll likely be laid off soon- which is actually good news, I can stop prevaricating about the bush when it comes to leaving and striking out on my own. You are probably wondering what this horrible face is all about. Over a month ago my friend Dillon kindly hired me to draw him as the portrait of Dorian Gray- or Dorian Gray, well, you know what I mean. He’s going as Dorian Gray for halloween and needed the portrait to go along with it. I was honored to do it and I really like how hideously it turned out! Happy Halloween :)

In lieu of payment, She gave me her beautiful little book, White Elephants, and a handful of her zines. I haven’t gotten around to reading any of them but at a glance, they are a delight. I had a lot of fun with this!
